    Hello!

I have a strange problem with black lines at the end of the brushes or better with grass. I don't know could be the cause of this, but I think it's because of displacement that I have used on those brushes.

    Thanks for any reply.

This can be caused by 2 things
    1. Compiling with fast lighting
    2. Turning all sides of a brush into displacements, instead of only the visible ones (the extra hidden faces sharing those edges confuse the lighting process)
If you did #2, just go back to the face edit dialog, displacement tab, then select the hidden faces and click Destroy. You can pick individual brush faces to turn into displacements in a similar way.

EDIT: some more info that might be helpful
Destroying all displacements from a single brush will revert it back to a world brush, and the :dispmask: button will allow you to see the non-displacement/destroyed faces so you can turn them back.

I had the same issue, and simply changing the faces of the brush that are causing these "shadows" to a nodraw texture fixed it for me.

You shouldn't actually put nodraw on a displacement; the compiler will bug you about it. You'd be better off destroying displacement faces that aren't meant to be seen.

Not that the compiler will complain; it will stop actually compiling, which can cause you to be getting old versions of the map without an apparent reason. It seems to be only compiling it for the first time.
