The year is 2024. The mapping world has been utterly infested by Payload maps, of varying degrees of quality. You have been tasked with eliminating (playing) a multitude of maps and decimating their ranks (achieving more map knowledge), however you may choose one of three tickets to select your playlist of maps. You may complete them in any order you see fit, but your end goal is to completely fill out your ticket. |
It's been about a year since THE ULTIMATE CHALLENGE KNOWN TO MAN known as King of the Hellscape. Well, I figured, why not do a sequel? So yes, welcome to the sequel to the best TF2 mapping challenge since creating a prefab in 2008...
THE 2024 PAYLOAD PANDEMIC CHALLENGE
Now you may ask yourself, "What the fuck are tickets?" Lemme explain the rules, you impatient $#%@.
THE RULES
1. Have fun with this, please!!!
2. Once you've chosen your ticket, you MUST stick with it!!! No takebacks. (Tho if you complete a ticket you're welcome to move to a different one)
3. You have two "free completion" tokens that you may use per ticket if you so wish.
4. You may use reskins for maps in your ticket if you would like. (some examples: Replacing Millstone with Hellstone, replacing Badwater with Spacewater, or replacing Pit with Minepit.)
5. TO COMPLETE A MAP, you must have two fully finished rounds on it! Joining a game where the payload is on 3rd will not count.
6. This is a game of trust, so if you want to commit fraud... well I can't do fuck all about it and I won't care, however you will be depriving yourself of the fun of this. It's up to you how you want to do your tickets, whether it be playing on Uncletopia's Custom Map servers, joining gamedays, playing casual, etc etc. You can even play maps on your own, and it'll count towards completion.
Now, to the tickets. You have three tickets to choose from. Each ticket contains 66 maps of a wide variety for you to play on. Each ticket also has abouuut 10 official maps on them, so you won't find yourself being SoL of playing the game if you choose the wrong ticket. And again, if you choose your ticket, you may not change it until it's 100% completed. Please choose wisely!
