For whatever reason different versions of Hammer from different Source games conflict with each other.
When I only have one game installed, like TF2,it's version of Hammer works properly. But if I install another game, its Hammer won't open.
Any ideas as to why this happens?

At first i was only using SFM,which isn't technically a game, but today i downloaded Counter Strike Global Offensive and tried opening its version of Hammer and the same problem happened there.

I have all 3 of those installed and TF2 hammer works fine

    never tried opening SFM hammer

cs:go you need the hammer from the SDK, not from the bin dir

    Well,that's the problem.
I asked UEAKCrash about this once and it worked for him too.
    And yes,I downloaded the SDK.
I have no idea what's this all about.

are you trying to run SFM while tf2 Hammer is open? hammer does try to hook into the running source engine process so that might be an issue if they don't match.

    No,I tried running them separatly.
I tried to run them in every way possible, really.
I even reinstalled SFM several times.
