Hey, Void again. As some of you know, I like making overlays.
Here to ask a question:
My map, pl_crowfoot has the BLU base and most of the first and second capture points nearby and partially within a Trainstation that branches out across North America as part of BLU's Railway system known as BLU Transcontinental.
The question? Since this railway goes throughout the Team Fortress 2-ized North America, would you like posters showcasing your Map's location?
You know, those posters you see in airports and such saying "Visit Beautiful _________".
I think it would make the world of pl_crowfoot (and all other maps) feel much more connected and widespread.
If you do want one, just give me some reference pictures, a Location name (i.e. a poster shouldn't say "Visit Beautiful pl_hoodoo!") You can decide wether or not to just take out the prefix and use the map name (i.e. Hoodoo, Aerospace).
Additional things you might want to request is what you want the poster to look like. Color palette? Theme? What's the map about? Why would someone want to visit there?
This is all to further cover-up the activities being performed by RED and BLU, and, like I said earlier, make them all feel connected and the world as one.
I spend my weeks making textures and overlays in Photoshop CS2, and my weekends adding them in to Crowfoot and actually mapping.
That's all!
