"Wrong sentry!" or "That's not how you fix that!" - Wrench down an enemy sentry

(probably already mentioned, I apologise in advance)
"Nice goin' pardner" - Assist in killing 20 enemies with your own and an allies sentry.

"I told you don't touch that darn thing" - Finish off an enemy with your shotgun, that was injured by your sentry.

I want this as a wrench:

The Revengineer:

-35% damage done

When a building is destroyed, 5 seconds of guaranteed melee crits.

I want something that rewards Engineers who help other Engineers.

Like a wrench that repairs other people's buildings faster, but it doesn't do as much damage.

Maybe some sort of gun that heals sentries as you shoot it! :O

Or a salt shotgun with effects similar to the Shiv, where they bleed but you get less damage on impact. Useful for catching a spy who tries to cloak and run?

i definitley want a way to get points for assisting engineers. there have been to many matches where i am at the bottom of the leaderboard with almost no points while the engineer ive been helping is at the top because i kept his stuff alive while he went combat engie. i dont mind it because i can feel satisfied that i was helpful but its time we helper engies get some recognition!

I'm surprised engineers don't get points for teammate building repairs/sapper removals. I definitely second this.

Points for upgrading would rule, it would also encourage people at spawn to spawn as an engy for ten seconds to upgrade a tele entrance, and go back to the class of choice. Would make a good achievement :p

Just thought of another (slightly more serious) one in the shower:
Spy-Ray Goggles
If a disguised enemy spy comes too close for too long you begin to see the spy behind the disguise. The downside is if you see an undisguised enemy spy your goggles go crazy and and the spy appears as bright as the sun, half blinding you

Heh, I never realized until seeing that image in the first post of this thread that the Sniper's headshots come from the front, but the spy's Ambassador headshots come from the back on the kill icons :D

already do this; want points for it :p

my friend and i have been speculating on the functionality of the alleged "laser sentry", here are the possibilities we came up with.

-the sentry takes longer to lock on but fires much more powerful individual shots with an increased gap between them. it would deal more damage and possibly one hit kill weaker classes who've taken a bit of damage already but it would be easier to run past in smaller spaces (such as a hallway) it could also have a slowdown/knockback effect.

-the laser will lock on to and reveal cloaked spies if they touch it but the sentry has a more limited range on the sides or turns slower. spies would have to crawl under, jump over, or come from behind. this could effectively seal off a hallway to infiltration from the front. would also make spycrabbing a useful skill!

Just an update to my welding torch info,
It would replace the wrench.
It would not be able to attack.
Metal would be removed and replaced with a charging battery or some sort of thing that recharges after a time or fills up with ammo.
Instead of 25 metal a hit, it would gradually climb with primary held down, removing the factor of the little pause that can cost a lot of time when repairing.

Pros/Cons:

+No need to wait for metal
+Faster upgrades and repairing
-Removed melee
-Can only be used when standing still.
