I need a sandbag barricade texture that can be use with displacements to create something like this:

I would be happy if the texture would be build up like this:

Position of the darker lines and the resolution of the texture is not relevant.

That way it can be applied to the side of the barricade, align to top, alt+M2 the top face and it looks nice.

Pretty sure those are a prop, or whatever the equivalent is in whatever engine is used by whatever game that is. The tops are just too perfect.

I like how nobody cares about the fact that I can not need these as props.
Displacements are enough. All i need is a texture. And if anybody would be to help me with this, a texture is the lowest requirement anyways.

You people just make me mad for no reason.
Note that the chat had the same reaction as stevethepocket. This is also the only reaction ever.

1. Making a texture like this isn't trivial. If you think it is, then you do it
2. It would simply look far better as a model, partially because as far as I know you can't use normal maps on displacements and this would need normals to be believable
3. The texture would be better if it was fitted specifically to your displacements, which is a chore and still won't ever look good enough

Seriously, it should just be a model. To me, the amount of work involved to make it work as a displacement just isn't worth it.

Alright, let's go over each of your point:

1. "Make the texture yourself."
If I could I would. Best thing I can do is just do some weird ass color changing.
2. Model > Displacement
Except you cant just go ahead and change the size of a model in hammer.
3. [Gibberish]

And this is what I get from making cobblewall001 yellow brownish. The texture doesn't fit at all, and It's still the best one aviable to me.

Actually, you can scale models in Hammer now, but the scaling is only visible in game. I forget the field for it.

I think he was talking about not being able to change the dimensions, not scaling a model up, might be wrong tho.

Then the solution would just be to make modular pieces in standard sizes as well as a corner piece. Many people have wanted a model like this before, so it would be a useful set of things to have.

Couldn't you just make a single displacement sandbag and then stick loads together? Maybe use Propper to turn that into a model though I dunno if it works with displacements.

Not only does that not work, it would probably be a billion times uglier than what it already is.

How about somebody actually makes this thing for a change? Don't even care what it ends up being.
I will pay with an item of your choice from the ingame store or market that is less than a dollar in prize.
