It isn't existing yet! Edge needs YOUR help!
Information!
--Needs a new everything. Priority: (nVidia) Video card, Processor, everything else including case; I need no harddrive.
--New stuff must let me use my SATA 200 Gig HD
--Preferred seller: Newegg
--Money: $370 in cash, $50 to Amazon in gift card
So who can help Edge!?!
[Edge knows nothing when it comes to hardware. He can put a computer together, but doesn't know anything about their specifics and which parts to get, etc. Any help is appreciated
]
Currently, my harddrive suits me fine - I still have 100 Gigs open, plus an old 80 Gig PATA is connected too and that's empty. When I get more money, I'll definately go out and buy a larger harddrive so that I'm definitely set. $400 might not be a lot to work with, but I get $20 every Monday for my current job, so go ahead and tell me to get things that can total up to $500, $550 -- I'll get that money within a month or two. My plan is to get a list of things that will be good for me, and then buy the majority of it in one bulk and get the stragglers later.
What exactly do I want? I want to run past 11 FPS. I want a computer that can handle Hammer and iTunes and Steam and AIM and Firefox all at the same time; a computer that let's me play Borderlands would be nice. Get it? Not something out of the park - I need no monitor or keyboard or mouse right now - but something that is mostly up-to-date, not 2005 like mine is.
