Now that we are done with that, this has been a very long journey that I started more than a year ago, the fact that is now finish with its final major update makes me happy. I have met so many people making this map, learned a lot and burned out myself really hard trying to solve whatever problem I have caused myself on accident. So yeah, this is my first map and Im really proud of it, and as such, is going to go to the workshop as well!

After a long time version b3b is almost near completion, with a lot of help to fully implement our custom announcer "The Boss" alongside performance fixes and improvements in the map visuals. Hope to see yall soon!

The work on b3 is currently on hold due having the steam account locked after moving from Spain to the US, as much as I would love to rant about the stupidity of what Steam Support is asking me to do I wont. Since the account is locked I cannot test any of the changes Im making so for now working on the map is on hold until I can get full access to the account back.

In other news, some easter eggs have been added alongside as (still work in progress) soundscapes. Once b3 is finished a trailer for the map will be done and only small adjustments will be made.

This is a small update for the following version of Neo Tropic!

So far the whole map had a performance revision made by the amazing dabmaster, even with my best efforts my performance stuff was shit so thanks to his work. The next changelog will have a section for all those changes

The next things that are going to be added are as follow:
  • Soundscapes made for Neo Tropic (they still need to be done)
  • Custom Announcer, "The Boss" (voicelines already recorded by Dynam)
  • Tropical Mercs, a song for the map. It will play on the spawns. You can listen it already on YouTube
  • Performance improvements
  • Fixed small clipping issues
  • Replace warehouse floor
  • Added out of bounds areas behind the spawns
  • Beach rework
- Changed displacements on the sand to give a more natural form
- Made the sand texture bigger
- Added rock props
- Removed push triggers on trees
- Added new trees on rocks
- Moved safeguard more far from the cafés
- Made playable area bigger
- Added new ways to indicate the end of playable area
- Someone yeeted plastic chairs into the sea
- Moved Saxton Duck a bit
- Added fences on top of spawns lattices
