There are crocs in the pit now.
  • The whole map was rebuilt from scratch.
  • no more funny waterfall
  • The pit in the middle now simply functions as a map hazard and nothing else. It does not deposit points. Do not jump into it. This is not going to change (most likely).
  • New custom sound effect for when the beast is hungry!
  • Added rocks at mid for cover
  • The mid is slightly longer ( lovely 128 hammer units of space, baby! )
  • The building at mid has a new experimental lower flank, with a single medium healthpack instead of 2
  • Remade wooden flank building
  • The waterfall's push force is slightly lower
  • More healthpacks added around the map
  • Jumping into the beast's pit now deposits all your points instantly!
  • Minor layout changes
    • Capzone raised by 32 units
    • The Highground platform on mid is smaller
    • Some doorways are wider/taller
  • All things should be properly packed now, including UI elements
  • Brand new fog in the cave!

The beast has been (mostly) silenced.

The most prominent sound - the one you hear when depositing points - has been muted. All other sounds are still there.
  • Layout changes
    • Remade middle area. It's now bigger, better and the highground is quite as powerful.
    • The waterfall flank is a much shorter journey. Changed the medium healthpack there into a full one.
    • The map is not quite as wide as it was before.
  • Removed getting pushed away from the hatch when it opens. (might be re-added but idk?)

  • the monster hatch now opens when the capzone is enabled

    • expanded the side shed
    • areas between mid and spawn are now more spacious and have more verticality
  • the waterfall is less confusing
    • added faster texture scrolling, particles and a sign to make it easier to tell it is gonna push you away
    • the push force of the water is weaker
    • you cannot build in the water anymore (thanks HMK3)
  • Shorter spawns (hopefully)
  • Improved optimisation
THIS is the final 72hr Jam version. All other work done on this map is done afterwards the Jam.
