Longhaul a3
Archival of one of my first TF2 maps, made over 6 years ago.
An old map of mine from when I first started getting into TF2 mapping. The map could be older than 7 years old for all I know, but I've done some digging and unfortunately wasn't able to come up with a precise time. Either way, this map is an Attack/Defend type map with the same gamemode preset as Gravelpit. I do not plan on updating it, but I may use some of the "good" parts of this map's layout in future maps. Either way, don't bother posting criticism or suggestions for this map, as it will never be updated again.
With some playtesting though, I've found that A is the easiest point to capture, B is the hardest point to capture, and C is in between. This map uses pretty much all base TF2 assets, proven by it's relatively small filesize. Though, it's also unoptimized as heck, which contradicts the previous statement a little bit. C point is really close to Red's spawn, but still somehow not too awful to capture. Either way, this map is very... square. No diagonal layouts to be found. Even if my most recent maps aren't too amazing, this map is still proof of how far I've come and how much I've learned.
