KotH map inspired heavily by Kennecott, Alaska, USA
Welcome to koth_sluiceway! KotH map heavily inspired by the Kennecott abandoned copper mine in Alaska, USA. Ultimately will feature two large forts facing each-other within a small bowl of terrain surrounded by tall ridges with a deep river below on the lower side, with a bridge laying between them for the capture point.
This is my first 'real' map for Team Fortress 2. As of this post, this is the very first playable alpha. I have left it largely as dev textures with relatively few props to focus on class and gameplay balance as well as enjoyability. Solo testing I've made sure it can be capped by both teams, nobody should be getting stuck on doors, and have tried to make sure there are a reasonable amount of health and ammopacks, hopefully not too many nor too few. I look forward to constructive feedback from playtesting to find what I've done here that works and what doesn't. Thanks to anybody who takes a look at this map and helps me playtest :3
