Koth Maple Ridge Event RC2

One of, if not the best Halloween maps in game. It's the perfect size, doesn't make my frames go to single digits, and it's not riddled with Halloween bullshit that make other maps of the season so much less fun.

This map is pretty inoffensive, I certainly like it's layout and it feels like some care was put into it. The only thing I would complain about is that the houses on the sides of the midpoint look like you should be able to go into the enemy team's flank, and I think they were originally intended to be like that. But for whatever reason they were blocked off, maybe due to balance issues? If that's not the case, I think it would improve the map ever-so-slightly. I would like to see the non-Halloween counterpart make it into TF2 one day (even though KoTH has the most maps out of any gamemode).

I enjoy playing this during Halloween, though I hear some people dislike it because of the map size. I remember Maple Ridge in 4v4 leagues, so if that's its strength, maybe that's why some people don't like it in 12v12 casual. I don't think every map needs to strive for 12v12 chaos, but even then the map felt open enough to allow a big fight. Only problem I had was that you can cap/defend the point on the other side of the fence, this has saved a game for me at least once.
