One of the speediest Deathmatch levels you'll play!
Stationed in the middle of the desert lays the foundations for a fight between Builders League United and Reliable Excavation & Demolition. However, due to the sudden end of the Gravel Wars, only one base had been constructed and thus a fight never broke out between the companies’ hired mercenaries.
Stationed dead-center in the middle of the constructed stronghold of Builders League United lays a trio of Rockets, with one being their most powerful - the Frizzles Bomb. Ever since the fall of TF Industries, this site has seen constant activity from new hired Mercenaries fighting over the Frizzles Bomb.

Frizzlesberg is a custom Deathmatch level for Open Fortress acting as a total remake of jb_frizzlesberg, a map I created for Jabroni Brawl 3 all the way back in November 2022. Frizzlesberg is a very large, open map intended for larger player-counts, featuring lots of space to bunny hop through, jump pads to send you flying across the map, and a plethora of fun weapons.
The map is based on the themes of classic TF2 levels found in the badlands, only now in a sunset setting. The location itself takes a lot of inspiration from the style seen in Hydro & Powerhouse, alongside a plethora of other maps from TF2's heyday.

This map uses no custom assets aside from a developer signature left on the map and a credits texture, which is packed into the BSP file.

- NOTE FOR SERVER OWNERS - Frizzlesberg can cause the console to shoot the shit and spam

. This error occurs because players tend to move so fast on Frizzlesberg that the engine itself is freaking out over it. Don't worry bout it - it doesn't do anything bad. - SECOND NOTE FOR SERVER OWNERS - Frizzlesberg's Launch Pads do NOT stop player speed, rather they add onto your existing speed. If you change things like air acceleration settings on your server, Frizzlesberg's Launch Pads may not function as expected!
- The Quad-Launcher will sometimes teleport off to a different locale than it's intended spawn location. I genuinely do not know why - I had experienced this in the past when the Quad-Launcher spawn was always visible, but it pops back up completely randomly ever since that fix with no easy way to replicate it in testing at all.
- The Slip-Gates might inconsistently hitch sometimes and cause you to lose speed. This is not intended. It's inconsistent. I wish I knew why it did that.
- Map might be a little laggy on low-end computers due to it's incredibly open nature, I have no idea how to optimise Source levels especially when it's mostly a giant open space sorry!! x_x
- Hidden OOB Mercenary sometimes stops doing his CROUCH_LOSER animation in favour of another one.
