mini update stuff i forgot for a2

  • changed B to make it hopefully less cramped
  • added a wall to blu spawn to stop camping
  • light changes
Added:
  • Add patch decals to the maps Healthkits and Ammokits
After the first playetests (justified) complaints, we went back to the drawing board for the 2nd half of the map and added a whole lot more. Now we just need to see if its any better :)

Changes:
  • New Sky texture and lighting, more gloomy environment
  • 2nd half of map completely changed
  • Cave to A has been redone
  • Fixed Wallhacks
  • Fixed some tiny ledges
  • Texture work
  • Removed banana hazard. OSHA fines smh
  • Removed Spy and Scout cutout :(
  • Made the forward spawn balcony stay there permanently (test out its use)
  • Fixed some logic stuff. idk, Quack knows all about that
Hoping we can change more stuff faster since we now have a better base for B
This should be the last patch for a1. We’re probably going to wait for a playtest before moving on
Changes:
  • Updated the showcase photos (pog)
  • Changed red spawn balcony to be less camp-able (A drop down has been added)
  • Removed diaper skybox (oops)
  • Tiny bit of optimizing
  • Fixed some brushes
  • Detailing
  • Tidying Logic
  • Changed Textures (My bad guys - Mr.Quacks)
  • Lowered A Cap time
  • Increased round time to 7 Minutes
  • Add Water to the death pits (Death pit lore!?)
I know this is a jump from a1b but this is just my version list of various changes
Probably won’t be an a2 until i get a test done

More Scaling
  • Scaled down many things (A point, left flank to B, various brushes) Will probably need to do more scaling work but I think its ok right now
  • Lowered the balconies at A to 192
  • Shrunk A's point
Little Tidbits
  • Added Shipping Containers to left B flank (Lore???)
  • Made it easier for Red to go through the Left B flank
  • Added Warning Signs for deathpit. Safety First

To-do (Short-Term stuff, probably done for or by the next lil update here)

  • Forgot about the diaper sky box gotta fix that real quick
  • Probably More scaling
  • Optimising is a big one
  • Detailing maybe
  • Testing
  • I want to make the signs move when capped, not just change magically
  • Update the photos of the map on tf2maps

  • Raised BLU forward spawn again so its more neat and isn't below A balcony
  • Added a bridge from BLU forward spawn to A balcony that appears after A is capped
  • Made it so the sun shines on our wonderful bloodshed
  • Darkened the white walls cause they were absolutely blinding from the sun
  • Changed Deathpit bottom texture so it doesn't blend in with actual floor
  • Fixed Resupply Cabinets (Thanks Mr.Quacks)
  • Made Spy explode more
