Main takebacks from the last test was that A too easy B too hard

I didn't like B, felt a bit empty so i added a hut lmao

Changes
  • Changed Respawn times to favor red on A and Blu on B
  • Extended Cap time on A
  • Increased setup by a tiny bit
  • Moved Blu's forward spawn forward
  • Changed A's layout a tiny bit
  • Added bananas onto objects you're not supposed to be on (for the funny)
  • Added 3d skybox
  • Messed with env light a tiny bit
  • added lore >:)

Fixed a blu forward spawn issue (one of the spawns was misnamed, thank you soldier bot for spawning there)
Last playtest went really well and was very fun. However a LOT of glaring issues were present so they're addressed now.

  • Fixed an egregious sniper sightline from red spawn
  • Moved the containers around on B
  • Remade the shutter door route on B
  • Tried de-choking the ramp route to B
  • Added clipping to the planks
  • Added a plank so the container arena after A is more accessible
  • Made ghost props solid
  • Made the blu container a lot more safe
  • Added lore in Blu first spawn
  • Redid the A point cubby room thing
  • Did some more prettying of the map
  • Sewed a displacement
  • Shrunk the banana Hitbox
  • Removed an alarm sound that caused errors
Should be it there. Making good progress :)
We got a proper playtest :D :D

Was very very helpful figuring out what to do next. Here's a list of the layout changes

  • Opened up B with spread out routes
  • Moved Red's spawn back further
  • Added a shortcut for RED through the dead end. (Warning, it might get toasty in there after A is capped :3 )
  • Closed off unnecessary routes. These would only split blu up. (Might still need work)
  • Added more CONTAINERS
  • Added piano
Now for the more pretty changes:
A has been semi-artpassed just because I wanted to practice and also get a feel for the theme. This is baby's first artpass for me so don't be expecting much
We got a mini playtest with half a server but was helpful enough for a few tiny changes

  • Reduced Round Length
  • Increased Cap time
  • Moved a barrel
  • removed duck hunt
  • Worked on cave cause it needs work
Made the map look better since we're waiting for the playtest and we're bored

  • Added women
  • Duck Mystery
  • More containers

  • More Decals
  • Changed lights to spotlights
  • more TEXTURE WORK, again
  • Displacement work
  • Cave has been redone, More fancy
  • Texture work (map is even more pretty, color coded blu's area)

  • Fixed some clipping, blockbullets type stuff
