where install addons/pluggins into my tf2 server

i recently purchased a tf2 server and im beginer about setup addons and pluggins, someone can help me with this? like where install them etc, i would really like install fastrespawn and map votes etc. thanks forward..

if you bought the server from gameservers that offer a service to install these I believe

For starters, focus on Sourcemod scripts (.sp files) and forget the more-complex-but-powerful Metamod. (Except for whatever you might need to install as a pre-requisite for Sourcemod.)

there a problem because i dont have the addon folder in my tf

Underneath this folder, you should have an addons folder (if not, Metamod:Source is probably not installed). From your local addons folder, upload the entire contents to your remote addons folder. When done, your remote addons folder should have a sourcemod folder.

then make one <_<
ie, don't open the folders and copy the contents, drop the entire folders into your tf directory

Ill admit its been awhile since I had my own server and needed to know this...but I am reasonably sure that the .sp files are the source, and .smx are the actual plugins...

hello , i just downloaded fastrespawn for my server , but there no instruction about where install the folder fastrespawn.smx or about how activate it.

ok i installed everything well and i found the plugin folder =) , but how activate the plugins into the server , for exemple i took rockthevote.smx or reservedslots.smx put into put into plugins (from the folder disable) restarted the server but nothing happen =/ maybe i didnt get something about activate the plugins

I would really like that the players in my server can see like a command line phrase, exemple !music rtv votekick voteban votemute , is that possible? so player can use this options thanks forward =)
