The sparkles could have been the flag's star instead of generic sparkles. A bit of a missed opportunity (unless you've already tried that, in which case I'm curious about the thought process).

so I did try your feedback, and I am sorry but no, it looks very tacky, the star does not look good, I believe the sparkle is enough for now.
