unbox.tf is a Discord based unboxing simulator!
We have been developing the bot for about a year now and for the 72hr Jam we decided to bring that joy to life with a toy in time for Christmas!

The items unboxed are actually added to your profile via our database server! We use Discord's API to manage accounts so it's bound to your Discord account!

There will only be these 2 prototypes as we need to focus on maintaining the service! Sorry no kits for now!

Join servers for me?

I personally don't like that it says that, and it's only there so if you wanted to join our Discord server you could click a button and be instantly taken there. We can remove that instantaneous functionality if it makes you or enough folks uncomfortable.

It does make me uncomfortable. I don't like the idea that I'm giving the ability for a strange service to have my account join any server it wants. I prefer to have control of that myself, so an invite is enough. I only wanted to invite the bot to a test server to see if it would be a fun diversion for my community members.

We have removed the "join servers for you" functionality, it will now only invite you.
I appreciate you wanting to test the bot, but we're not quite ready to have it on more servers.
It's available on the KritzKast and unbox.tf Discord servers.
We do plan to open it up for more servers soon, as part of the work we did for the Jam was focused on making our service easier and more secure on the back-end.
