If we had subcategories (like how one can specifically look for Skyboxes among texture downloads) it would make browsing through the entries far easier, especially when searching for items to showcase.

I think this is an issue that Tf2maps has in general. I find that the download section could use sub categories/specific model tags as well since many of models aren't categorized which means sifting through 10+ pages of content. i.e to find a skybox, you either have to look through discussion that reference sky boxes or manually scroll through textures.
