My first publicly-released map, Technobabel is a Kart Racing map with a few features unique to it. Like most Kart Racing maps, both teams race to complete a certain amount of laps before the other team, but there's more to it than that here!
Features:
- Well-designed, skill-based racetrack that encourages experimentation with physics and power-ups.
- In-Map Radio Station that plays music automatically and in a random order each time.
- A GIANT SECRET that only ONE person and class can access each race, and the effects of successfully finding this secret are map-wide. (Hint: it's close to spawn. That's your only hint!)
- Plenty of custom textures and an art-style inspired by certain previous maps and games.
Thanks to Fr0Z3n for the boost pads, and the site in general for all the useful information needed for this map to see the light of day.
With Technobabel, my goal was to make the most impressive and replayable Kart Racing map yet to be seen in Team Fortress 2, and people like you will be the judge of that! Let me know what you think!
