srcds Lost connection to server

Sorry if this is the wrong section.
Ok, so i just hosted a server using srcds, everyone can see it, but when I try to play it, it says lost connection to server, so i can't use achievement weps! I have all ports forwarded, and it works fine except for this! also, it says no valve anti cheat? I just made this server.

i have been stuck on this a while. not sure if its because im on the same ip address as the hosting comp, idk.

change your client port to something other than 27015

oh also it doesn't work for anyone who joins either

• Right click on the game in the "My Games" list in Steam
• Click on Properties
• Under the General tab, click on Set launch options
• Add +clientport 270XX
• Click OK
• Click Close
• Launch the game

try this before anything else. you only need to do this on computers that are behind the same router as the server!
