anyone else experiencing atrocious load times and/or massive console dumps as of late?
I'm running an old system, but the load times used to be in the range of 30-40 seconds for a test run... now it takes 3 minutes to load anything.
I looked on the internet and people seem to have suffered this as far back as 2023. From my end, it seems to be a handshake between client/server to enforce sv_pure, but it looks like the whole file tree is being checked twice.
I just got back to using Steam after a long absence, so my last update was Jungle Inferno.
