(re)Introduction

Hi everyone.

As I have recently started playing TF2 again I thought it might be a good idea to check out where TF2maps.net is now! I was active in the group almost 5 years ago now, and while I didn't have the patience to ever complete my own map I enjoyed playtesting and being a part of the development community.

Back when I was still playing maps like hoodoo, yukon, aerospace, and others which are now 'official' maps were still in development! Most people I knew are probably gone now but maybe some of you are still around! Youme, Nineaxis, Void, Matt, DJive, Shmitz, etc.



EDIT: I've only just realized there is a sub-forum for introductions, now I feel dumb if an admin could move this that would be great.

I miss Warpath, Castle4 and Meridian. Good times. Hope we'll get to see you on the server(s)~

But I'm curious, why did you stop playing TF2 and why have you come back now?

I miss Meridian, it was a bit disorganized to play at times but the map was so cool. Are gamedays still run for map testing? If so I'll be there.

I stopped playing TF2 just because of losing interest to other games or activities as well as at the time I didn't like the addition of more weapons to the game, I thought it would unbalance everything. So then I spent a few years getting pretty deep into MMO's and then DOTA, but now I've lost interest in those a bit and come back to TF2. It's all a cycle hey?
