I got this idea from Guild Wars 2's pvp system.
There are 3 points, for every point you own, the timer goes down at that speed.
So if you own 1 point, it goes down at 1x speed, if you own 2 points, it goes down at 2x speed and if you own 3 points it goes down at 3x speed.
I called it conquest as that is what GW2 calls it.
This also uses a system that allows you to add/subtract KOTH time without the irritating TIME HAS BEEN ADDED TIME HAS BEEN ADDED sound effect.

You can increase the amount of points, but really anything past 3 would become a cluster****.
