Old Threads

Is it still possible to revive old threads that were used in the older version of this website or should i make a new thread now? I need to post a map update.

Yes, you can use your old map threads. All you need to do differently is upload your map to the import queue instead of its normal download category - this will prevent a new thread from being generated automatically, so an admin can assign the old thread to it instead. It'd help if you can include the old thread link in the download description when you do this.

I thought the old map threads were never imported from the archived site in the first place, and that's why they stopped being salvageable when we lost the old server.

We lost the downloads, not the threads, all the threads are still available on this forum. I also managed to find an incomplete copy of the downloads, which is available at http://archive.geit.uk/
