need help i think my map is screwed

You might be able to open it using a text editor and check out that line of it. I don't know a huge amount about vmfs at a text level, Djive might know

might want to edit your steam account name there, bud.

There is still hope. Opening up the vmf in wordpad can reveal strange errors that you can remove. For example, someone here had a similar error. Opening up the vmf revealed console output copy / pasted into the vmf. Removing said output fixed the vmf.
