More FPS needed

I have a fairly bad Pc at the moment which I have tf2 on, on any official valve map with 2-3 bots , i average around 6 fps. I get more on custom maps (such as those found on this site) most likeley due to less props. If anyone could link me some very well optimized maps, or ways to increase fps (yes i have already got a config, lowest graphics, and 800x600 resolution) it would be much appreciated!

i know this sounds dumb but did you try setting the video settings to the ones with the *'s next to them

Yes, i did that, it was the default settings anyway, so raising them only lowered my fps, i currently have them all on the lowest settings possible. If needed my computers specs are: GPU- nvidia GeForce 8200m CPU- AMD Turion (dual core) RAM- 2gb OS- windows vista Is pre built laptop that is HP g60

Set -dxlevel to 80 in the Launch Options, it wouldn't be stable, but guaranteed to give more FPS.

And have you tried 640x480 resolution yet? Also, try setting the r_lod to the lowest.
