I know it's a bit late, but only now it occurred to me.
I guess you all remember the Loose Canon comic. In it the Engi agreed to fix Blutrach's life machine, but it wasn't mentioned he done the same to Redmond. Does this mean that Rednond will die, and not be revived, shortly? And how will it effect TF2's story?

It's implied whatshername bribed him into making Redmond one and him agreeing, and on the next page, Blutarch shouts "He made one too!"

So, yeah, they both have not-dyin machines
