Lighting Problemos

so all of a sudden today my lighting stopped working in hammer it looks like there is a leak in the map but there isn't, i've checked every possible way there isn't any leak, even the compile says there no leaks. i've downloaded and re downloaded hammer twice hoping it would fix and its still broken anyone know whats wrong?

Is fullbright the problem on your map?

I mean what's the problem on your map, is it that the map has no lighting and basically starts up in a fullbright mode? Is that your problem?

Oh i thought it was just something i could turn off, yes theres no shadows on the map everything is bright and ugly

Try installing 32bit version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2015.

That might be the case.

thank you so much that fixed everything! i forgot all about it (working on a new laptop)
