Light_environment not working as of Dec 1st?

I noticed that as of the Smissmas update hitting, the light_environment entity doesn't seem to work properly (at least in new map files).
It does cast light, but I think it's not accounting for adjusted parameters? And I've tested this in both regular Hammer and Hammer++.

Anyone else having issues with it?
