koth_backyard - My first serious attempt on a map. A simple layout to nail dawn the basics

My first attempt to make a full-fledged TF2 map. Since im not that familiar with the Hammer editor yet, i kept things simple with the layout. Since it falls down to the "first map" category, high quality is not guarranteed in any way possible but i hope you enjoy it somehow regardless.

Changes:
  • Added overlays for healthkits and ammopacks
  • The underground doors are no longer team specific
  • Fixed the train hitbox
  • The respawn time for the defending team has been increased
  • Capture time has been reduced from 12 to 8 seconds
  • Added an extra small healthkit behind the crates near the entrances to the underground passage
  • Removed one medium ammopack from the sniper balcony

Changes:
  • Engineers can no longer build on top of the trains
  • Adjusted lighting to help with team recognition (further feedback in that area is needed however)
  • Fixed an issue where the doors of both spawn rooms were tied to each other
  • Added a light at the area beneath the point. Fixed an issue where it was impossible to build in that area as well
  • Adjusted the position of the train in the blu building so it mirrors the red train's position perfectly

This is going to be the last update on this map. Since many of the issues are due to the flawed concept of the layout, fixing all of them would be more time-consuming than it is worth and i want to move on to other projects, so, expect this map to pop up in the orphaned maps depository thread. Thanks to everyone who gave feedback and my apologies to everyone who went through this map during the imps.

Changes:
  • Inverted respawn times back to their previous state
  • The point cabin has been removed
  • (Finally/hopefully) fixed the train collision
  • Added two crates behind each train so players can get to the top of them
  • Added a large healthkit in the sniper tower
  • Replaced the small healthkits in the sniper tower with small ammopacks
