I've been trying to setup a dedicated server on a pc for me and some friends to play around on. So I've installed the hldsupdatetool program and I've plugged in "hldsupdatetool -command update -game tf -dir C:\srcds" and it started downloading.
After an hour or so I noticed it was downloading Half Life 2 Materials and models. Why is this? I am hosting a tf2 server not a hl2 server. Is there any reason to have these files?
