Help: Can I apply an Animated VTF to a static prop?
I created an animated VTF that has 2 frames. Basically it was switching sides. I created a 128x128 texture, then packed them in the same texture (128x256) and just switched the alpha so it would flip back and forth. In max I mapped to parts of a model to make it appear to be flipping back and forth. But It seems my texture is not animating on the object!? Can you apply an animated VTF to a static, or dynamic prop? Help would be great!
Yes, I know a very gimmicky map. But I have followed most of the the related post and plan only to release one version, and filled with plenty of custom objects and play tested before release
