Golden Wrench #31 will be destroyed for Child's Play

Right then. The person who recieved Golden Wrench 31, WiNG, wants to destroy it, seemingly because of the Drunken F00l brouhaha and for people openly hating him every time he wields it. But instead of just getting rid of it and setting off another round of "Excuse me? EXCUSE ME!" videos, he's going to raise money for charity (specifically: Child's Play).

Here's the page with details. D-day will be the 31st August, and the 20 highest donators before Aug 23rd will be invited to be present at the server in which he will destroy it.

It will be intresting how Valve copes with this, although it appears Robin Walker seems fine with the event going ahead.. The only other case of Golden Wrench destruction I believe was reversed due to it occuring on a hijacked account, but I wouldn't be surprised if it transpired that the wrench will get redistributed. Anyway, discuss and/or donate.
