With the subject line "Golden Joystick Awards" and inform them that Valve has continued to release new content throughout 2008 and should be present on the list.

They will state that it may not qualify:

4) Only games released between 22nd May 2008 and 22nd May 2009 are eligible for inclusion in the main categories of this year’s awards.

But with more and more games making incremental changes, I believe they should be rewarded for their efforts.

L4D can burn. Even if the vote is more in Valve's name and not specifically L4D, you'll never tempt me to do so.
