an MVM i've been working on.

bots aren't pathing perfectly and the arrows are buggy but should provide a good challenge and some entertainment.

- those arrows are annoying... triggering relays using the pop file's start/end round options seems a lil iffy

On the contrary, it looks like someone took Degroot and bruised it. The yellow/purple contrast is pretty disgusting imo

the ghost tree isn't really a major issue as that image was taken from a point only visible when noclipping so the fade shouldn't cause any problems

Every screenshot is saturated with the color of earwax or a deep purple and sometimes they intermix to form a color best described as "when a kid drinks too much grape juice and throws up". Using a lot of yellowish and purpleish textures might be feasible, but mixing the lighting colors is frankly just awful. I don't really care if they are complementary or not because it has no bearing on the fact that it's a terrible lighting scheme.

I have to agree the purple looks a bit off but otherwise the map looks pretty nice, gonna give this a download and see how it plays so far.

well at the very least have a try at it in tf2.
I'm just thinking that your "bruising" and kids throwing up metaphors in regards tothe colours are a lil exagerated.

Honestly, not really.
Whole map is pretty much either really yellow or really purple, it looks awful, throw some non yellow lighting in there (or better, just get rid of yellow lighting) and get rid of the overly purple tint in envioremental lighting.

A lighter color variant will probably do just fine. Both for the fires and for the environment. You'll want to have the light as close to white as possible, yet with as much tint as necessary. Just because the sky is blue, doesn't mean that we get blue lighting for example
