Game Night fuck up.

First i want to apologize to ryodan and immortal. They work their asses off to schedule something like this and i end up derailing it.
I'm having some billing issues with my ISP. i decided to switch to another provider and canceled the one i was having trouble with. Unfortunately, (out of spite i guess) they decided to come and disconnect me the same day i tell them im going to switch providers. ATT (the new ISP) cant come and connect me till Friday. That means that at home i have no internet access till Friday.

Again, im really sorry for not keeping up with the server and having it ready to play on Saturday (i did manage to upload most of the maps requested on Friday from work).

Maybe you should tell us what ISP treated you so poorly so we can avoid business with them and flame them all over the intrawebs? Just a thought. I don't want to start an ISP gripe session, though.

Time Warner. I was using their 'Roadrunner' service. Its amazingly fast, but the company as a whole seem really bad.

To be fair, I had very little to do with this gameday. Had I actually played in the last week or so, I would have found the server out of date, and could have updated sooner. In any case, servers will always be available should we need them again. Come to think of it, we might want to start planning now for when the contest ends. But still, no hard feelings dr p You keep the site up, and give us a place to download. You the man!

I have come into possesion of a server, wich I intend to be using fo,r almost exclusively, custom maps. Do you want to have a TF2maps night once a week or something?
I could load requested custom maps for each week and deviate from the normal rotation for one night.
This server is a coltsplayground server although they have practically given it to me so they will be more than happy to let us do this. The only problem is I'm in the UK so I guess most people will have [quote control point podcast] 500 [/quote] ping and the server has a 300 ping limit

Thats actually kinda cool, because our current server is located in Chicago and I know we have many people from across the atlantic that are members on this forum, so maybe if we synchronize stuff on a game day we can get all the maps on both you.

I was just getting ready to make another game day thread so I will mention this possibility in the servers area.
