Recently, I have used Hammer's F9 compile to launch early versions of my map to test some basic things with the commands "-dev -console +sv_lan 1" to keep it secret. I'll have a fine internet connection up until my map starts, and then, the fit hits the shan.
My connection dies until I stop Hammer, TF2, and restart my modem. Believe me, I've tried just closing Hammer and TF2, but not even my internet browser can get online after running the map!
Is it the sv_lan command doing this, and if so, does anyone know of a way to keep others off of the server created so I can just test my map privately without using sv_lan?
