Exactly what it says. Basically, a texture that's just like the one used on the sawblades, only straight and usable on brushes. I tried making one myself, but it's just showing up as all-black in Hammer, so apparently either some of the commands in saw_blade.vmt only work for models or I screwed something up.

I figure brushed metal is pretty common IRL so even if I change my mind about using it myself, someone will be able to find a use for it.

The chrome textures TF2 has are kinda similar to the sawblades, although they lack actual texture, they are a similar level of shiny, have you tried using those?

Alternatively, if those aren't quite right for you, the standard Ibeam metal texture might be a good base for experimentation, copy it's vmt using GCFscape (rename it of course) and check out the vmt of the chrome textures I mentioned, then merge the two and fiddle with the envmap numbers so its less/more reflective as you want.
