72hr Summer Jam: Kukri Prop Submission - A TF2 prop made for the annual TF2 Summer Jam!
I normally do some type of TF2 drawing but today I wanted to do something a little different, so I decided to create a life-size Kukri prop. I first drew the design on composite board, cut it out and sanded the edges around the prop to make them more rounded (for con use). I then used hammered spray paint for a more weathered look to it, then I added the handle's colors with acrylic paints and edged it with masking tape. For the final touch I added a polyurethane coat to add shine and to prevent the paint from chipping if I ever decided to use it for a cosplay. I'm pretty new to making sword props but I hope to improve on them in the future!
Pictures! (Sitting next to other TF2 projects I've done in the past)
