I'm trying to recreate the ring pickups from the early 3D Sonic games to replace small health packs and have everything working except for sound.
I'm struggling to get ambient sound to play loud enough to hear, but even with that fixed the default health pickup sound would still play over it...

While working on my map, I have repeatedly run into the issue of health and ammo packs disappearing (i.e. their models not being rendered) even though they are still in my field of view. This seems to be influenced by the direction I am looking and the distance am I away from...
I wanted to finally try and learn to model a 3D object for TF2. So I did a test by making a trophy for the Sniper.
Unfortunately I couldn't get it working for SFM or TF2, hence why the render is straight out of Maya.
Either way, a fun time indeed! Will be looking at trying to get it working in...

i got one idea. but its kind of slopy. it involves 4 trigger push. pushing the spy around in a squar. making him move but not go anywhere. dus draining the meter.
but that could cause slight shakynes. so is there any other ways? i dont want spies hiding in one place all the time on my HUGE map...
