MVM Map Creation

Loading up the three official mvm maps in a listenserver works fine but when I try to load a custom, or the example map the console is telling me the server needs to be 32 players. How do you launch a listen server into 32 players and why would the official maps work? Strange.

How do I Zip the missions in with the map? I just popped them in and hoped for the best. Is there a certain folder it must 'go' in?

It would be a shame to make custom population files and not be able to use them :>

Could someone find out the average width/length of the play area of the mvm maps please. I don't have access to hammer atm, but want to start planning on paper. Thanks :)

I think the folder is resources/population. If you have GCFscape you can look inside the tf2 content gcf and search for .pop files to find their location if I'm wrong.

Messing around with mvm_upgrades.txt it's very limited and I don't even know why it's there to be honest.

Also found out how to spawn money.

item_currencypack_custom does not give money, but there's an item they added but never used called item_currencypack_small that gives 5, also item_currencypack_medium and large.

you can't replace or add new attributes to upgrade?

i guess there's no way to interact with the map like tank rerouting and such, not big surprise
