My submission for the 2024 72hr jam!
This is a reimagining of a Destiny 2 pvp map called "Wormhaven". I reiterate that this maps layout is NOT MY ORIGINAL CREATION and is a remake of map made by Bungie for Destiny 2, although it is not 1:1 by any means. I made this purely as a study in multiplayer level design and it is not to be taken seriously as anything past that.
That being said I really enjoyed making this! The original Wormhaven is a very curvy, futuristic map and adapting that geometry into something more TF2-y was a fun challenge. I've completely changed the theming of the map as well as changing a few things with the level design, which is why I use the term reimagining rather than calling it a 1:1 remake.
I've tried to keep a majority of the gameplay spaces as close to the original as I could with my limited hammer experience. There are a couple of crazy sightlines that are directly inherited from the original map so don't blame me if sniper is busted.
