a1a update:
This update is designed to act as a ‘hotfix’ on some of the most severe problems facing the a1 version of this map, whilst I work on the next major content update.
- Moved the Payload Carts forward to just behind the setup gates, so that the first 45-60 seconds of every round wasn’t just stacking as many classes as possible pushing the Carts through home territory.
- The setup timer is now only 30 seconds, down from 70 seconds. This should make the setup time much less boring.
- Widened the cubby holes at last and moved the Ammo and Health to be more visible.
- Removed some doorway props.
- Replaced some of the wall in the connector between the bases at the back of the map with railings.
- Added a window to the building next to the starting area of the Payload Carts to draw more players to it.
- Replaced the gray walls in the high area behind the checkpoints with railings, this should open up the area more and make the map feel more connected.
- Changed some textures.
- Fixed up some clipping.
- Added soundscapes (from hightower).
- Opened up the map to allow more light into the map from the skybox.
