I have a bunch of old unfinished projects that are never going to be finished, and looking back at some of them, that's really a crime!
If you use any part of these please credit wherever you do your credit (readme files, post descriptions etc).
For all of them I'd encourage you to seek other people to help out with custom models and such.

FREE TO ALL:

1 - TUG
The point moves away from the base of the team that owns it. The layout isn't brilliant, but it was made in a day. The gamemode is what's interesting.

2 - CIRCUS
This one is nearly complete. I was nearly finished doing the artpass, waiting on someone who had agreed to make a ton of circus models. They never came through and the map was never finished.

3 - SPACEBASE
Robot Destruction without the flags. Not amazing but plenty of people said they loved mid

4 - SPACETRAIN
Second stab at using robot destruction entities. Mixing king of the hill and robots, this one is a little bit of a miss. Still, someone might find something useful here.

5 - EXCAVATION
Third stab at robot destruction entities. Go big or go home. The giant excavator is undoubtedly this map's best feature. The gamemode has you control the capture area under the excavator and collect the cores (ore chunks) that it produces. This one suffers a little because I was trying to stick to a very open play space to match what a strip excavation would be like.

6 - GRIT
Steel type from way back when those were interesting.

7 - MOUNTAINSIDE
72 hour payload map from a while back. The map is pretty ok and it's most of the way though an artpass, needs a bit of polish in terms of gameplay and a small amount of art and it'd be complete.

BY INVITE ONLY:
These final two are ones that I have a strong interest in seeing completed.

8 - STARK
This is the koth version of the map which was always the better version. This version just needs an artpass, I gave it some competitive testing and the results were promising so if you want to work with stark, I'd like to be closely consulted regarding any changes to the gameplay. Otherwise it just needs an artpass.

9 - SABOTAGE
Twist on special delivery from a 72 hour contest. This one needs a little bit of guidance in terms of gameplay before it can be artpassed. I feel like it's nearly there. If you're working on this one, I'd like you to work with a 3D artist (if you are not confident with making tf2 models yourself) to create a new payload and new rocket. I'd ideally like a voice actor to do voicelines for this one too.

I'm going to take a stab at Tug, I really like the concept of it. But if anyone else wants to grab it don't let me stop you.

I'd probably take a stab at Stark, I'd just like to see the vmf before anything to see what I could come up with before hand.

I'm interested in finishing Stark. It was a fun map when I last played it.

What about custom content? Where do I download that? For example, the rock-material on mountainside is custom.

There's basically none. The ground in tug is from strata, the cliff in mountainside is from snowplow, there's a few instances of Acumen's tractor from before Rexy made the one for Manor, but other than that there's nothing.
(those error models in excavation's screenshot are item_bonuspack not actual errors)

I might play around with Grit if that's okay. Maybe do an art pass, but no promises on finishing anything.
One question, how far along is Grit in Alpha? Does it need extensive play testing?

I'll have a go at Excavation. Seems interesting but I dont understand the gamemode so I'll have to test it before I do anything.
