Dommler submitted a new resource:

koth_salted - An attempt at a 2-point koth map.

koth_salted is more or less a test for a two-point koth mechanic and layout. The mechanic still causes some concerns regarding stalemates, which is why I would like to have it tested.
The layout is also still quite barebones, and will see more additions after getting feedback about the mechanic.

Feedback is of course very much welcome.

*Additional information about the mechanics in version a01:

Control points:
  • Capturing a control point makes the timer run down by the factor of one.
  • Capturing both control points makes the timer run down by the factor of two.
  • The timer is currently set for around 5 minutes / 300 seconds.
  • You have to hold both points to win, after the timer has run down.

Spawn times:
  • Holding both points increases your spawn time slightly.
  • If your timer has run down, the enemy spawn time gets increased by 10 sec.

Possible issues:
  • Having to hold both points to win could make stalemates very likely.
  • No Overtime that increases decapture rate (Overtime, how does it work?!).
  • Mid being to easy to dominate?
  • The balance between offence and defence at the points.
  • Players losing orientation because of the layout / hud not beeing clear which point is which.
