TF2 Remake of the extremely popular Day of Defeat map Argentan !

Gamemode : 5CP "Cap&Hold" : The first team to capture all 5 capture points (flags) in any order wins !

Has it been compressed yet? Its 170 MB. The largest filesize for a valve map is snowplow at 122 mb. (Which is also massive compared to other valve maps).

It is compressed, steam worskshop says 50Mb ; weird that tf2maps says 170Mb...

Well, it's not just that it says that, the filesize is actually 170mb.

Anyway.

I can't actually decide if this map will work in tf2 or not. It's so unlike anything I've ever played in tf2 that I don't have any point of reference to critique this map on.

The layout, the non-symmetrical CP variation that you are re-introducing, hell, even the detailing is quite different from most tf2 maps.

At the start, I was going to say that it wasn't going to work but now I've been around it quite a few times, the less sure of that I am.

The only real problems in my view that there are, are:
There are quite a few giant sightlines for snipers.
The points are hard to spot (even when I saw I was capturing something on my hud I was confused for the first time, perhaps put the small doomsday capture point underneath the cap flags).
There are no indications of how to get to the points (put some signs up).
The capture times are all the same and take no time at all to capture and that you can capture any point that your team hasn't captured yet will make back capping the biggest problem of the map.

Btw the detailing is amazing, I love it, maybe the interiors are a bit sparse but the outsides are great.

Once you fix the capping problems and fix the file size issue on tf2maps.net then we can playtest it. It will be interesting.
