Well,first of all,the map itself is REALLY small. Reminds me of Snakeskin...
but smaller.
This part is really big (or open... or both. I still don't know the full "Hammer Language-thing". :V
And also,snipers can spawn from this position to the other spawn. And that's not cool.
Those 2 health/ammo packs doesn't make any sense... Well,yeah,it's good to have those (obviously),but not SO close to each other. And I think that health/ammo on the control point is telling me: "camp that CP like there's no tomorrow"
You REALLY need to fix that door. Make it so it opens faster,make it smaller... Or just get one of the door models that are around.
ALSO,the spawn room is really big too. V:
I don't get the point of this room... Basically,if I'm chasing someone and is going for THAT health/ammo,he's dead. Because there's only 1 narrowed exit. Nothing else.
Missing some texture stuff over here...
And from NOW ON this is only personal. All that stuff I said before,you'll probably get the same message from,well.. everyone. Almost. xd
Here's 2 small things that I noticed by myself:
You can do a small (but small) demoknight charge over here. Who knows how's that going to affect gameplay. Oh well.
And this... I MIGHT BE THE ONLY ONE having this "problem". I might not. No need to worry about it if you GUYS see it clearly.
Stupid toaster.
And of course it's still in alpha.
So that's it,I guess. It's an aplha map,so there's lots of stuff to be fixed,moved,and yadiyada. We always start with this stuff. Looks promising.
Maybe having a bigger map (not like the spawn room,of course. Just measure... things... The people around here will explain things better than I do. xd)
And yeah. ALSO,for future screenshots,type sv_cheats 1 in console and then:
r_drawviewmodel 0 - That'll remove your weapon from the screen.
cl_drawhud 0 - That'll remove everything else (timer,ammo,health,control points)
noclip - Just to move around without any issue.
That way you'll get some better screenshots. And also check out some tutorials from
Crash and
Freyja , and if you haven't,get the
Ultimate Mapping Resource Pack to get all the props and models in TF2.
Other than that,can't wait to see a future update,with tons of new paths,chokepoints,shortcuts and BANANAS!
