Changelog​

  • New route to the roof above the cap
  • Altered courtyard outside spawn
  • Reduced cap time
  • Redesigned inside of the building behind the cap

So, why not A3? Because that version sucked and didn't work. When I said I was taking a big swing in changing up the map, I had plans for ripping the map apart and effectively starting over from scratch. I didn't really like it, so A4 rolled back to A2 and reworked from there. Hopefully, the changes counter the big complaints against how strong engineers and soldiers are.

  • Added multiple routes exiting spawn
  • Made various doorways wider
  • Added structure covering the capture point
  • Turned full health pack on top of the center building into a small health kit
  • Removed additional health pack in the alcove next to the point
  • Bigger spawnrooms (though I'm still not in love with them)



Hopefully, this addresses some of the concerns from the recent playtest. I know it doesn't solve all of them ; I'm worried soldiers and demo's will still be very strong. I expected them to be in the first version and I'm hoping this levels the playing field somewhat.
