Past 72hr Jam Entry Ultiduo_Seaside - 72Hour Jam Entry 2022! Alpha v1
Conquer the mighty Sandcastle with your Ultiduo partner and claim victory!
This map was created doing the 72Hour Jam 2022 Summer event by Cypherus/Mika, SP0NK and Nestle.
We decided to go with an Ultiduo map for this year's event since it seemed manageable given the time constraints. We had a couple of goals in mind when creating the map, the main one being that the map had to be playable. Unfortunately, time was running out, so we couldn't playtest the map in time with a full group of 4 players. However, the point is capable and spawns should be fully functional.
The map was supposed to be a tropical island with a sandcastle in the middle functioning as the capture point and small hotels as the team spawnrooms. We didn't manage to texture most things in time, so it might not be all that clear. We also added small outdoors shops to the map and created some of the out of map environments.
IMPORTANT: We have yet to wall off the outside of the map, so currently, players can move around outside the map freely. We are planning on finishing up the map eventually and in newer versions, we'll have this fixed.
